Born in Santiago de Chile,attended the german school in Santiago. Studied at the school for translation and interpreting studies at Heidelberg University, graduating as a conference interpreter for English and spanish in 1985. In parallel Heidelberg High School of music, graduating as an opera singer. Free lance interpreter at the European Parliament since 1986 as well as Council of Europe, European Commission and European Court of Justice with German, Spanish, English, fFench and Italian. Work for the German Parliament, different political foundations and international organizations and conferences. Experience as coordinating and consulting interpreter in southern africa.
Interpreter trainer at Heidelberg school of interpreters since 1985. Main tasks – interpreting into spanish, voice training and coaching, breathing and communication techniques. Organization of traineeships and excursions to real conferences for young professionals.
Invited professor to the University of Winterthur, La Laguna, Capetown and Johannesburg.
Interests : classical music, traveling, arts and architecture, spanish and latin american as well as english, french and german literature.
